If you leave a comment, the site stores the fields in the form, your IP address, and your browser user-agent, to limit spam. An anonymized hash of your email may be sent to Gravatar to see if you have a profile there. Gravatar’s policy: automattic.com/privacy. After a comment is approved, your Gravatar may appear next to it.
Cookies
If you comment, you may save your name, email, and site in cookies so you need not type them again. Those cookies last one year. A temporary cookie may be set only to test whether the browser accepts cookies; it holds no personal data and expires when the browser closes.
